Brandon Bruffett

Brandon Bruffett began his comedy career at the world famous Second City in Chicago. He has since been featured in regional and local showcases in the Bay Area of San Francisco as well as Austin, TX & New Orleans. While residing in California, he regularly opened for many national touring comedians, including Alex Elkin, Mark Pita, Robert Duchaine, and many others. In Baton Rouge where he now resides, Brandon can be found on stages all over the city, where he hosts Hit With A Brick open mic comedy, monthly Gun Control, and putting the FU in Funny; as well as regularly performing at Boomerang Comedy Theater, Silly Rabbit Comedy Club, Lunchbox Comedy. He has been seen performing alongside names like Sean Patton, Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine, Pineapple Express), and Punkie Johnson (SNL). Brandon uses his deep southern drawl to lure the audience in, playing on the assumptions many people make upon hearing his first words. Never one to shy away from controversial topics, he carefully navigates hot-button issues, delivering smart, well-manicured material with hard-hitting punchlines slathered in southern sarcasm. This earns him huge laughs and the occasional gasp every time he takes the stage. Whether it's his deep south disposition or his ability to remain absolutely relaxed no matter how uncomfortable the subject matter, Brandon keeps the audience on their toes, hitting them with punchlines they never see coming.
