Mike Jenkins stormed on to the New York Comedy Scene in 2010. The “Mad Dawg of Comedy” brings a unique combination of fun loving madness, high energy and absurdity wherever he takes the stage. As a former Professional Wrestler, Mad Dawg Mike Jenkins lit up audiences across the Tri-State Area on the independent wrestling scene. Mike’s own brand of craziness and kick ass “rasslin” awed the independent wrestling world. Having trained with WWE Legends Dr. Tom Prichard, Honky Tonk Man, and Tito Santana, Mike Jenkins had the tools took to make it big in professional wrestling. However, after sustaining multiple concussions, Mike had to make major life changes and walk a new Path. In 2010, a recovered Mike Jenkins rocked the house at the World Famous Carolines on Broadway in Times Square NYC. The former wrestler reinvented himself and found he was able to ignite the audience with jokes instead of bodyslams. The world of Comedy quickly found out: Mad Dawg Mike Jenkins’s Bark was LOUDER than his Bite. Since his Comedy debut, Mike has performed with many greats including Reverend Bob Levy, Jim Florentine and WWE Superstar Mick Foley. Mike performs several times a year at the Tickle Me Comedy Club in Las Vegas Nevada as well. Beyond Comedy, Mike has appeared on many national television (TV) shows including Quantico (ABC), The Hunt with John Walsh (CNN) and A Good Cop (NTD). Mike can also be seen in a recurring role as "Detective Bill Britt” in the TV show Homicide City (ID). Mike also proudly performs a an actor at the World Famous Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Mike has appeared in the Live Worldwide HD broadcasts of “Aida” and “Lucia di Lammermoor”. Mike also plays "Police Officer Al" in the Grammy Award winning opera “Porgy & Bess”! Mike continues to host wrestling events as a ring announcer and is available to produce private comedy fundraisers or events.
