Lafayette Comedy presents BUN INTENDED – A Standup Comedy Show at Fat Pat's Bar & Grill in Breaux Bridge on Thursday, SEPTEMBER 3rd, at 7:30 PM!
This FREE show will be held on the climate-controlled patio. While tickets are free, please check out online so we can get a headcount.

This month's special headliner will be Jasmine Ellis! She has featured for stars such as Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che, The Daily Show’s Roy Wood Jr and Jaboukie Young White, Phobe Robinson and Netflix star Leanne Morgan. 
Jasmine Ellis is a  Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, entertainment journalist, and podcast host from Arlington, Texas. Jasmine tours colleges and clubs nationally and has been featured at over a dozen of the Top comedy festivals including Moontower, 10,000 Laughs, Limestone, and Black Girl Giggles.. Her Debut comedy Album Trashbaby went #1 on iTunes and has beenfeatured on the " best comedy album by comedians you haven’t heard of " Playlist on Spotify. Jasmine was honored as a Comedian to watch on the Whohaha Women in comedy forum, and her comedy special Nobody’s Queen was awarded NPR's Bullseye Comedy album of the year is available to watch now on  Amazon Prime and the Drybar comedy app.

In January 2007, Fat Pat's Bar & Grill opened the doors to their first location on Verot School Road in Lafayette, LA. Family-owned and operated, Fat Pat's strives to ensure delicious food and family-friendly atmosphere in the Acadiana community. Brothers Aaron and Adam, develop the recipes and oversee day-to-day operations, while Mama Chris handles the books, and Papa Marty takes care of just about everything else!

So who is "Fat Pat"? Well, you see, back in the restaurant's early days, Fat Pat's was staffed by family, like many small businesses. One of the cooks went by the nickname, "Fat Pat", and it fit the restaurant's motto, "Never Trust a Skinny Cook!" The name stuck and Fat Pat's Bar & Grill now has four restaurants and more franchised locations in the works.
