JP LEONARD

JP Leonard is a stand-up comedian who has performed at top venues across the U.S., including The Stand and New York Comedy Club in NYC, and The Riot, Secret Group, and Improv in Houston. He has performed on Don't Tell Comedy shows in New York, Louisiana, Texas, and Florida, and he has also been featured at comedy festivals in Austin, Atlanta, New Orleans, Knoxville, Houston, and Birmingham.

JP has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in comedy, performing in theaters opening for Mark Normand, Dave Attell, and Jim Breuer, and hosting for comedians like Tom Segura, Nate Bargatze, Doug Stanhope, Kyle Kinane, Shane Gillis, Ms. Pat, Bobcat Goldthwait, Greg Fitzsimmons, Emo Philips, Judah Friedlander, and more.

Beyond stand-up, JP is the founder of Lafayette Comedy (lafayettecomedy.com) and a comedy writer, having contributed to The Laugh Button. He also co-hosts the podcast We’re Dying Down Here with comedian Tyler Arceneaux, where they interview national comics and explore the triumphs and challenges of performing in smaller markets.
