  • Mike Eaton, Matt Bellak, & Kory Smith (open-mic to follow)
  • Lafayette Comedy presents comedians Mike Eaton, Matt Bellak, & Kory Smith at Legend's Pub on Thursday, March 21st at 8:30 p.m.The weekly open mic to follow the show. This is a pay-what-you-wish show! Tips/Donations go to your touring comedians.Mike EatonThe human embodiment of that little dance white girls do when you give them food, Mike Eaton is a lovable oaf and sweaty comedian from Austin, TX. A storyteller at heart with riveting, hilarious tales about that time he almost died or that other time he also almost died - none surprisingly having to do with his own heart - Mike’s comedy feels like old denim. It’s comfortable, loose, relaxed. Yeah, it’s got some wear on it but that’s why you love it. There’s a reason Mike has opened for comedy staples like Tone Bell & Louis CK and been featured on prominent festivals like Skankfest, SXSW, and the Nashville Comedy Festival- and that reason is obviously bribery. When this two time Austin Roast Battle champion is not taste-testing drugs or releasing his own flavor of ice cream (for real), he can be caught perpetually giggling on stages all across Austin, the lonestar state and beyond.Matt BellakMatt Bellak is a nationally touring headliner based in Austin TX. Originally from Chicago, Matt is a gifted comedian that sky rocketed to success. Within 2 years of starting comedy he was already opening for the greatest comics in the world. The likes of Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, David Spade, and many others. His irreverent style is sure to leave you wanting more. He can be seen on Amazon Prime and touring the country with the Dope City Comedy Tour.Kory SmithWith a decade of laughter under his belt, Kory has cemented his place as one of the stand-up comedy scene’s most vibrant and engaging talents. Bursting onto the scene 10 years ago with a unique blend of humor that resonates with a wide array of audiences, and has since toured the country, bringing smiles and uproarious laughter. Performing at some of the nation’s most esteemed comedy clubs, Including opening for comedy giants like Theo Vaughn and Jay Larson. has consistently proven his ability to connect with audiences, sponsored in part by ChatGPT.

  • Lafayette Comedy and Oof Comedy presents comedian Neil Rubenstein at Cite des Arts on Saturday, March 30th at 8:30PM.Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door the night of the show.Comedian Neil Rubenstein is a burly, tattooed guy who plays against type; kind, and cerebral, but still casually mentions past illegal activities (running a poker room, owning a brothel, etc.) the way one might reference a Renaissance Lit course you took in college.TV & Film AppearancesCasino Cinema (Spike TV)Taking Back Sunday #TAYF10 Live From Starland Ballroom (AXS TV)Threat by Matt Pizzolo (Black Mask Studios)Flight of The Conchords (HBO)Important Things w/ Demetri Martin (Comedy Central)Sopranos (HBO)Girls (HBO)30 Rock (NBC)The Mentalist (CBS)The Blacklist (NBC)Poker Face by Dennis Widmyer (Pet Sematary, Scream TV Series)Comics Watching Comics (Amazon)SHOW RULES:* Cell phones must be set on silent or turned off. Never take a phone call during the show. If it can’t wait, please step outside.* Table Talk must be kept to a minimum. Lafayette Comedy reserves the right to remove loud, talkative patrons. No refunds will be given.* No Flash Photography permitted* No video or audio Recording: Each comedian owns the rights to their own material, however, do NOT.* Do Not Heckle the Comedian: Heckling is interrupting the performance to upstage, disparage, or throw off the comedian. It is never acceptable, and the quickest way to ruin the show for everyone. It is also the quickest way to ejection.* Do Not Interrupt the Comedian: The common excuse for this is “I’m helping the comedian” and “that’s what you’re supposed to do at Comedy Clubs!” Comedians are professionals, they do not need help. Exception: If a comedian directly engages you in conversation, it is ok to respond. Some of the best comedy happens this way and can make for a memorable experience. Be ready to let it go when the bit is over.I don’t recognize the comic’s name, will the show be funny?Yes, all of our acts are professional nationally touring comedians. There are so many talented comedians today; it is impossible for all of them to become household names. That being said, comedy is subjective and we recommend you research the comedian you are coming to see.Unless otherwise stated, please consider all of our shows as “adult subject matter.”No refunds unless the show is canceled or rescheduled.

Located in fertile Lafayette, Louisiana, we use only local sugarcane to produce smooth and unique French-style rums from the same sugarcane cultivated by our forefathers. All of our rums are produced by hand in small batches with no importation of foreign molasses or sugarcane byproducts. We source from Louisiana farmers and American craftspeople. We work hard and celebrate harder, again, much like our ancestors did. While our fans keep returning for our innovative flavorings and wood-aging processes, our goal is to refashion the way adults appreciate rum, agriculture, and craft distilling. The story of Wildcat Brothers Distilling may be the most unorthodox tale this side of the Bayou. Set in fertile South Louisiana (“Cajun Country” as we like to call it), our story features two unlikely heroes: a former lawyer and Ph.D. behavioral scientist. Together, they embarked on a journey to help their fellow Acadians celebrate the joie de vivre with the very best French style rum. The result was Acadiana’s first distillery. Merging old-world recipes and modern techniques, our flavors harken back to the way the original Acadians would have crafted rum – with their own hands and local ingredients.LOCATION & HOURSGator Cove - Lafayette, Louisiana2601 SE Evangeline ThruwayLafayette, LA 70508(337) 703-3410 - Tasting Room Direct Line
