Lafayette Comedy presents comedian Jeff Dye at Club 337 on Saturday, Sept. 23rd at 8:30 p.m.

Jeff is a nationally touring comedian, actor, host, prankster and Bigfoot enthusiast. He starred in NBC's comedy adventure series "Better Late Than Never." This project followed the travel of Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw and George Foreman as Jeff presents them the adventure of a lifetime. Currently he’s on new episodes of "I Can See Your Voice" and "The Masked Singer" on Fox.
Dye has performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (twice), finished 3rd on Last Comic Standing and has had his own "Comedy Central Presents" special. In previous years, he has starred on numerous TV projects, including "Money from Strangers", "Girl Code", "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", as well as NBC's "I Can Do That"- a one hour comedy variety series that puts six of America's brightest entertainers to the test as they compete to showcase their talents with breathtaking and unique acts, featuring skills they didn't even know they had.
Jeff's album "Live from Madison" had been a top 10 album on the Billboard Comedy Charts and his new album Dumb is Gooder will be coming out in 2021!
Dye's passion is bringing love and positivity through laughter to everyone he encounters.

* No video or audio Recording: Each comedian owns the rights to their own material, however, do NOT.
* Do Not Heckle the Comedian: Heckling is interrupting the performance to upstage, disparage, or throw off the comedian. It is never acceptable, and the quickest way to ruin the show for everyone. It is also the quickest way to ejection.
* Do Not Interrupt the Comedian: The common excuse for this is “I’m helping the comedian” and “that’s what you’re supposed to do at Comedy Clubs!” Comedians are professionals, they do not need help. Exception: If a comedian directly engages you in conversation, it is ok to respond. Some of the best comedy happens this way and can make for a memorable experience. Be ready to let it go when the bit is over.
I don’t recognize the comic’s name, will the show be funny?
Yes, all of our acts are professional nationally touring comedians. There are so many talented comedians today; it is impossible for all of them to become household names. That being said, comedy is subjective and we recommend you research the comedian you are coming to see.
